Visitor Tracking identifies companies browsing your website, even if they don't fill out a form. Know which prospects are researching you and reach out at the perfect time.

Setup

Install the Tracking Script

  1. Go to SettingsVisitor Tracking
  2. Copy your unique tracking code
  3. Add to your website before the </head> tag

Verify Installation

  1. Visit your website
  2. Return to SettingsVisitor Tracking
  3. Check "Installation Verified" status
  4. View test visit in dashboard

Viewing Visitors

Visitor Dashboard

Access your visitors:

  1. Go to Visitors in main navigation
  2. View identified companies
  3. Filter by date, pages, or engagement

Visitor Information

For each visitor, see:

Get notified when key accounts visit:

  1. Go to VisitorsAlerts
  2. Create alert rules:
    • Target account visits
    • Pricing page views
    • Multiple page visits
    • Return visitors
  3. Choose notification channel (email, Slack, in-app)

Lead Generation

Auto-Create Leads

Automatically create leads from visitors:

  1. Go to VisitorsSettings
  2. Enable Auto-Create Leads
  3. Set criteria:
    • Minimum pages viewed
    • Time on site threshold
    • Company size filter
    • Industry filter
  4. Leads appear in your pipeline automatically

Find Decision Makers

Once a company is identified:

  1. Click on the company
  2. View available contacts
  3. See job titles and departments
  4. Add contacts to campaigns

Add to Campaigns

Turn visitors into outreach targets:

  1. Select visitors from dashboard
  2. Click Add to Campaign
  3. Choose or create campaign
  4. Contacts from those companies are added

Troubleshooting

Visitors Not Showing
