What are Signals?
Signals are indicators that a prospect or company may be ready to buy. Instead of reaching out to cold leads, focus on those showing active interest or need.
Signal Types

Setting Up Signals
Access Signals
- Go to https://app.salestools.io
- Navigate to Signals in the main menu
- Configure your signal preferences
Configure Signal Alerts
- Go to Signals → Settings
- Select which signals to track:
- Job changes at target accounts
- Funding announcements
- Technology installations
- Hiring in specific departments
- Set notification preferences
- Save settings
Using Signals
Signal Dashboard
View all signals in one place:
- Hot Signals - High-priority buying indicators
- Recent Signals - Latest activity from your accounts
- Signal Trends - Patterns over time
Signal-Based Lists
Create dynamic lists based on signals:
- Go to Lists → Create List
- Select Signal-Based
- Choose criteria:
- Companies with recent funding
- Contacts who changed jobs
- Companies hiring in sales/marketing
- List updates automatically as new signals appear
Priority Scoring
Signals contribute to lead scoring:

Data Enrichment
Automatic Enrichment
Salestools automatically enriches your contacts with:

- Review updated data
