The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open Salestools. It delivers a live brief: the single most important decision waiting on you right now, your pipeline value and outreach numbers, and a running feed of what your AI rep Sally has been doing — so you can clear what matters in under a minute and get on with your day.

The status strip

A quick-read summary bar runs across the top of every dashboard view and stays current as you work:
  • Sally is on shift — confirms your AI rep is active and running.
  • Approvals waiting — the number of drafts currently waiting on your review.
  • Actions since midnight — a count of everything Sally has done today.
  • Pipeline — your total committed pipeline value.
  • Live · ringing — appears only when one or more calls are in flight; click it to jump straight to the Calls view.
On the right side of the strip, Refresh pulls the very latest data and Ask Sally takes you to your tasks and copilot.
The Dashboard caches data for approximately 40 seconds so pages load quickly. If you just took an action elsewhere and want the counts updated right now, click Refresh to force the latest state.

Approve the day’s top decision

The hero card surfaces the single highest-priority message Sally has drafted and is waiting for you to send.
1

Read the draft

The card shows who the message is addressed to, their company, the action type, Sally’s confidence score, and a preview of the message body.
2

Approve and send

Click Approve & send. Sally sends the message immediately, the card clears, and your Approvals waiting count drops by one.
3

Or open the full queue

Need more context, or want to handle several drafts at once? Click Open queue to review every pending draft and reply in one place.
When there is nothing left to approve, the hero card shows “Inbox zero.” That is the goal — it means Sally has no decisions waiting on you right now.

Track your outreach KPIs

The KPI strip gives you five live performance numbers for whichever time window you choose.
1

Pick a time window

Use the 7d / 30d / 90d switch above the strip to change the period. Every tile recalculates instantly.
2

Read the five metrics

Email open rate

The percentage of sent emails that were opened, with total emails sent shown below.

Reply rate · email

The share of emails that received a reply, with total reply count.

Accept · LinkedIn

The connection-request accept rate for outbound LinkedIn invites.

Reply rate · LinkedIn

The reply rate across LinkedIn messages and InMail.
A fifth tile, Visitors identified, shows the share of site visitors Salestools was able to identify. A small ↗ or ↘ next to each number shows the trend versus the previous period.
3

Scope to a teammate (managers only)

If you are a manager or admin, a Whole team / teammate dropdown appears next to the period switch. Select a name to view just that rep’s KPIs instead of the full team rollup.
A KPI tile dims and shows a dash when there is not enough data in the selected period — for example, before you have sent any LinkedIn requests in that window. It lights up automatically once activity comes in.

Switch between the five dashboard views

The heading near the top of the page is a dropdown. Click it to switch between five focused views. The view you pick is stored in the page URL, so you can bookmark or share a specific view directly.
The default view. Shows your pipeline stages, pending approvals queue, burning signals for your hottest leads, outreach KPIs, and a ticker of Sally’s most recent actions.Modules in this view:
  • Pipeline — total committed value at the top, then each stage as a bar with its deal count and value. Click through to open the full pipeline board.
  • Approvals — drafts and replies waiting on your review, each showing the prospect, action type, and how long it has been waiting. Click Open queue → preview all to handle the full list.
  • Signals · burning — your hottest, most recently active leads. A dot marks the very hottest. Use + new watch to set up additional signal watches.
  • Sally’s last actions — a compact ticker of recent activity. Click See full feed → to open the complete history.

Daily sending limits (AI Agent view)

The AI Agent view includes a Daily sending limits panel that shows how much headroom your agents have left for the day. Each channel shows a used / total count with remaining capacity. The progress bar turns accent-colored as you approach the cap. All limits are soft caps that reset at midnight in your timezone.
If the panel shows “No caps configured yet,” your agents are running without channel limits. Open Manage agents → Channel limits to set limits per agent. Caps protect your sender reputation and keep LinkedIn activity within safe sending rates.

FAQ

Sally is your AI sales rep built into Salestools. She drafts outbound messages and replies, runs prospect research, and works your outreach queues automatically. On the Dashboard she surfaces the decisions that need a human — most importantly, the messages waiting for your approval before they send.
A dash means there is not enough data for that metric in the selected period. “Loading…” means the data is still being fetched — wait a moment or click Refresh. Empty modules also display a hint such as “No burning leads yet” until data arrives.
Approving from the hero card updates the count immediately. If the number looks stale, the ~40-second cache may still be serving slightly older data. Click Refresh to force the latest state.
Only if you are a manager or admin. A team-scope dropdown then appears next to the period switch in the KPI strip. The Dashboard is otherwise a personal view of your own work only.
The active view is stored in the page URL — for example ?view=calls. Bookmark the page while that view is open, or copy and share the link, and it reopens on the same view every time.
